Interview
I was called for an interview with the managers. I was taken into the back and asked typical interview questions, and went over goodwill's involvement in local business and charities, what was expected of the job if I was offered the position, etc. I was offered the job on the spot, and I accepted.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Goodwill (Indianapolis, IN) in Apr 2013
Interview
The interview process is very casual. They ask you the generic interview questions, and really no matter what you say they pretty much hire you. They hire almost anyone. It's part of their company value to give everyone a chance.
You would have to be late, or rude in order for them to turn you down. They have to fill out online forms when they decide not to hire someone saying why they didn't, and most of the managers are too lazy to do that so they pretty much have already decided to hire you once they call you in for an interview.
