Sit down in a room with two + people to discuss the job. It is a suicide hotline, you do have homicidal calls as well. You are required to take training in a class room at an undetermined amount of time, need to become certified in ASIST before taking suicidal calls, but does not strictly enforce that requirement.

The hiring officer was polite, knowledgeable, and very indepth. You also interview with the prospective boss, so interview them too. They are generally done privately, one on one, in the manager's office. Always wear business attire, even if not specified, as showing respect to your potential employer is a small price to pay for an opportunity to be employed.

I was met by the store manager who interviewed me. He gave me a tour of the store and a brief description of the job. In his office I was asked some common interview question. At the end of the interview i was hired.
