I got interviewed by GoStudent twice. Once in July 2023 and once in November 2022 for the same position (Sales Representative). For the time in July 2023 I was taken to the 2nd interview. Then at the 2nd interview which was scheduled for 30 minutes, although the girl was very friendly, she asked me barely any questions. Probably like 1 or 2 questions and if I didn´t ask the amount of questions I did (I asked a lot since there was time left) then the interview would probably had only lasted 10 minutes. It's not that I got rejected that annoys me per se, but that I got rejected in this way, had no chance to prove myself. It felt that she was doing the interview while already having made her mind up. Just doing it out of obligation. This is unprofessional. I'd rather they rejected me before going to the interview if they already thought I was a bad candidate than to waste my time and then half arse an interview. As for the time in November 2022 the people who interviewed me were different at all stages and may not work there anymore. I don't know for sure. Nonetheless, then the interview process seemed much better, organised and professional and I got to the final interview. However after that I was ghosted for months on end and never got an update on whether I was selected. Of course I found another job because I'm not going to wait around. All I can say is that after being interviewed by Gostudent twice, that this is a very unprofessional attitude. I know that it's kind of normalised for companies to ghost people or to give false hope and then not bother doing a proper interview, but this attitude by big companies needs to stop. Be the difference, not the norm. We are all people. Thank you.
