I can't imagine the job search without Glassdoor, so imagine my excitement when the opportunity for a sales position opened up. Over the course of a few weeks, I had a phone screen and was eventually brought in to interview in person at their Sausalito office. I thought the interview went great and the manager I met with was an absolute pleasure to speak with. However, after a long while of waiting I was informed that they were no longer hiring for that position. I understand things change quickly in this industry, but I had taken time off from my current position to interview with them and the ultimate slap in the face was that the job is STILL posted. If I didn't make the cut that's fine, but I feel like I wasted my time and did not receive an appropriate response. Even if they were to reach out now, I am so turned off I'd rather stay where I am because I'm not confident this company has their act together or is respectful of their candidates time.
