I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Glassdoor
Interview
I went into three interviews, the first one was a scanning and normal question by human resources employee and the second and third one was from my direct manager and the director of the division I worked for. Very normal and classic interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2016
Interview
Very thorough, met with all other sales managers in tier and all directors for all tiers. Met with VP of Sales and CRO. Took a while, but I appreciate that they went to such great lengths to vet me out. I hope they do that for every hire going forward.

Question 1
How do you see the leadership jobs above yours differing from the one you're interviewing for as you move into them later in your career?
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Mill Valley, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
It was a very efficient yet comprehensive process. The process began with a recruiter screening call. Next step was a phone conversation with the hiring manager. After that I was provided with a deck and some materials to prepare for a virtual mock renewal presentation to three Glassdoor managers. Preparation was key. It's a great opportunity to dig in, gut-check and see if this is really something you get excited about and could see yourself doing long term. Last phase was onsite interviews in Mill Valley where I met with seven different members of the team. A long day, but a great opportunity to meet/engage with the team and see if Glassdoor would be a good cultural fit.
