I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Hannibal, MO) in Jul 2019
Interview
Most professional and thoroughly planned interview I've ever had. Started off with an interesting plant tour after initial HR prep. Interviewed with 2 teams of 2. Then, interviewed with the hiring manager. They had me order lunch from a very good local restaurant and brought it in for me to have lunch with 4 potential colleagues. Followed by a debriefing with HR. Everyone was very nice and I was blown away with the effort the local HR person put into making it all go smoothly for me.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Mills (Mumbai) in Jul 2019
Interview
Their were basically 4 Rounds
1st Round was an Aptitude Round
2nd Round was a Technical Interview Round (Java, C++, Sql, Big Data, MongoDb)
3rd Round was a Management Skills Round (How well are you capable of managing things)
4th Round was a HR Round (Be Calm & don't fake yourself. Stay who you are)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Golden Valley, MN) in Aug 2019
Interview
I had a 30-minute phone interview with the hiring manager, got an on-site invitation 2 days later, came in for a 3-hour on-site about 3 weeks after the phone interview. 45 minutes with the hiring manager's boss, 45 minutes with a director of an adjacent division, 45 minutes with the hiring manager, 30 minute coffee chat with peers I would have worked with, and 15 minute follow-up with HR. Each interviewer (except for the coffee chat) had standard behavioral questions given to them that they had to answer. Also between the phone interview and the on-site I had to take a long personality quiz, and a brutally hard logic test.
