I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at General Mills (Ginebra) in Aug 2018
Interview
Really disappointing experience from a global company like General Mills.
While the interview itself was okay, the follow up was deplorable.
Weeks with no contact and then an automated rejection email - sent from a generic email address. This is despite the interview lasting more than an hour and being very detailed.
Left a very bad taste in the mouth. Would not recommend anyone to bother in future - if this is the interview process, the company must be equally disappointing to work for.

Question 1
Extremely detailed questions about past experience and case studies which is unusual and not really expected at first round interview.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Aug 2018
Interview
I applied on LinkedIn for a position and within a three week window I had my initial phone interview and was flown to the corporate office for two formal interviews with the Marketing team. The two managers I interviewed with do currently manage or have managed the position I was applying for, which was very helpful when getting more detail on the role. The interviews are very fast paced with mostly situational/behavioral questions, so you need to be well prepared. I would also have your own questions prepared to ask at the end, they leave about 8-10 minutes for this. They also set you up with an informal coffee chat while you are at the WHQ with someone working the position of interest, which really helped me understand the day in day out responsibilities of the role and get candid feedback on the position. Overall amazing process and the recruiting team was so great to work with.
