I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at General Mills in Oct 2015
Interview
Applied through campus recruiting and had a very pleasant process.
First was an initial personality based interview with two interviewers. Lasted approximately one hour, and they were both very attentive and asked relevant questions.
Second was a more technical interview with someone in a lead Quality positions, but also with some personality based questions.
One week later received an offer and had a very fulfilling internship experience.

Interview
I did a phone interview with someone from Integrated Customer Solutions, then an online assessment (Hogan test and reasoning test), and finally an in-person interview at the HQ. For the in-person interview, I met with two managers and two people from HR who were mainly there to start/end the process but didn't actually conduct an interview.
Overall, everyone was very pleasant and friendly. I was impressed with how structured and organized the entire process was overall.
