I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Chanhassen, MN) in Jul 2019
Interview
Initial interview was over the phone with Plant Manager and person occupying the role currently. They asked a number of behavioral interview questions and offered time for questions at the end. After advancing to the next round, I was asked to complete two assessments and fill out an online application. Second interview was at the plant with three other individuals that this role would interact with and/or manage. One of the three was via Skype. These individuals also asked a number behavioral interview questions from pre-selected options. It is important to read all of the PDF attachments they send you with your in-person interview details when interviewing at the plant.

Interview
I applied for the position through the website and heard back that I was up for a phone screening a few weeks later.
The phone screen covered a couple of typical PM interview questions and gave me a chance to get to know the hiring manager a little bit better
A few days later, I was invited to an on-site interview. The on-site consisted of several rounds of STAR-based interview questions as well as a coffee chat with another person currently in the role I applied for. It’s a long interview for sure, but I found it energizing. Everyone I met was an absolute delight, and the campus is beautiful.
About a week after my interview I got a call offering me the position.

Interview
I applied online and was contacted by phone a week later to confirm my interest in the position. I had a phone interview scheduled for the next week with the manager of the team. Phone interview allowed me to introduce myself, talk about my previous experiences as well as get to know more about the position, team and the company. During the interview I was asked about my previous career, skills and some situational questions. I had a very positive experience with this interview and was looking forward to the next steps in the process. The person was very welcoming and professional. The onsite interview was scheduled couple weeks later. I met with 7 people, 4 of them were interviewing me for longer than 30 min. It took over 4 hours total with the meetings but the time passed very quickly since everyone had very positive attitude and was friendly. The atmosphere was great and I enjoyed the interviews. It made me excited about joining the company.
