I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gallagher (Rolling Meadows, IL) in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process consists of 3 in-person interviews. Each interview is a little different as the interviewers are all from different parts of the company. They then decide where you would best fit in the company if they hire you.
Telephonic interview was good now looking for excel exam. The process is seamless. Asked about cb1 and cb2 the papers that i had cleared. The process was not that complex.

Question 1
Tell us about yourself and why do you want to work with the company.
Absolute waste of time.
I was told to schedule an interview. Their AI bot Atlas sent out a couple available time slots, and it should’ve already been a bad sign when immediately the time slot I chose was taken within a minute of getting that text.
I requested a half-day off work to prepare for the phone screening interview. Once I got the call, the recruiter asked me two questions only: give me a run through of your background then she asked me if I had a current P&C license. The job listing said that a P&C license was preferred, but not required. Immediately after I told her that I am actively working towards getting a license, she bluntly told me they prefer someone who has a license then quickly told me that they’ll keep me in mind for future postings, “thanks, have a good day.”
Then just like that, the phone interview was done in exactly 2 minutes. Not sure if they are just trying to fill a quota of “external interviews” when they already have someone internal chosen for the job position, but EXTREMELY disheartening experience. Probably the worst phone screening interview experience I had.
Please understand that people take their time to prepare for these things. It’s so disrespectful to my time to know that I didn’t have an active P&C license when I applied, still schedule a phone interview, then bluntly cut it short after.
