I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gallagher (Hartford, CT)
Interview
Recruiter found me online. We scheduled an introductory call for later that day and she passed my information to the manager. He called the next day to schedule an interview for later in the week. The interview was short, quick and a blatant waste of time. Experience is highly regarded.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing to do with marketing or insurance. No questions asked about my personal achievements or work ethic. Mostly described the building. Why are you here? Where do you live? Do you drive?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Gallagher (Rolling Meadows, IL) in Apr 2019
Interview
One phone interview with a young woman who came across an old resume that I had submitted to the organization a couple years back. She reached out to me, on her own. I didn't even apply. It appeared to be a small subsidiary of a larger company which had a lot of promise. The interview was extremely short and rushed, to the point where the organization came off as unprofessional and unorganized, and the interviewer didn't seem to know what she was doing and seemed unqualified for her position. After the phone interview, she told me that I should be hearing back from her by "the end of the week." The interview was on a Monday..... wow! Well, the end of the week came along (Friday), passed, and AFTER emailing her TWICE TO FOLLOW UP AND LEAVING A VOICEMAIL TO FOLLOW UP, this young woman went ahead and purposely decided to COMPLETELY ignore both my emails and my voicemail. Extremely unprofessional and a waste of time and honestly, just plain rude and inconsiderate. I really hope this woman doesn't "cold call" any one else. She is only doing damage to the organization's reputation, and honestly should be terminated.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gallagher (Christchurch, ) in Dec 2018
Interview
Very streamlined and straight forward. All points were clear and questions answered. Contract is very well written and is open to adjustment if need be. Highly recommend going in having read corporate contracts first
