Very good interview, the interviewers were friendly, personable, and asked relevant questions and the task given as part of the interview was a very good and relevant test of technical expertise and, most importantly, was respectful of my time.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (Londres, Inglaterra) in Nov 2022
Interview
Relatively easy three or four interviews overall. Role play interview as well which was quite straightforward. Also an interview about company culture and collaboration. First interview is call with HR.

Interview
Very unprofessional experience. Definitely not a Tier one company. Very junior and inexperienced - mainly kids in their 20s.
Below is a first hand recount of my recent interview experience with GLG. I wish this was a joke but sadly it's not.
An hour prior to my ph screen the recruiter reached out to say she had a personal situation and needed to reschedule the call to the same time the next day. I agreed.
When I logged into the Zoom meeting the next day at the time set I saw that the interview was scheduled to start 30min later than what was agreed. I emailed the recruiter but got no response.
Therefore, I had to reschedule my personal appointment to accomodate the "new time".
When the recruiter joined the interview she was 5min late and apologised. Ok. No acknowledgement of the fact that the interview was at a different time to what was confirmed.
I then had an in-person interview scheduled with 2 hiring managers. On the morning of the interview I received a text from one of the hiring managers that he needed to reschedule. Ok.
The interview was rescheduled for a few days later but would be via Zoom instead. When I joined the Zoom meeting only one of the hiring managers was present. I asked if the other hiring manager would be joining and was told "no" without any explanation as to why.
The interview went fairly smoothly and I was told about the next step that I should be expecting. The following day, I sent a thank you email to the hiring manager which was not responded to. Then I emailed the recruiter which was again not responded to. I followed-up with her a few days later but again was met with deafening silence.
It's been 2 weeks since my interview and needless to say I've been ghosted. The only consistent theme throughout the interview process was the lack of respect and professionalism shown towards candidates.
If this is how GLG manage their client relationships then I'm not surprised by their diminishing market share.
I feel that I was used to bolster their interview number and provide the illusion of "diversity" in their hiring process. I would not be surprised if they hire another young white male into the team.
For an organisation in the services industry they should know better.
Dear GLG, your hiring process is a direct reflection of your company culture, and your lack of professionalism shown towards candidates irrevocably tarnishes your brand.
I previously viewed you as a legitimate organisation. Since my recent experience I realise I was grossly misinformed. I would never recommend anyone to interview for you or any businesses to solicit your services.
