I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GLG (Austin, TX) in Sep 2014
Interview
Met them at the career fair and was selected immediately for a very easy, typical phone screen with the recruiter. Was invited for a final round interview at the end of the call. Final round consisted of just one 30 minute on-site interview with the Research Manager, followed by a quick tour of the office. Questions were both behavioral and technical based, but it seemed as if the guy had already made up if mind before the interview even began. Also, while on the "tour" (it's literally an open floor office with a bunch of desks and computers--looks more like a calling center than a corporate branch) most of employees seemed pretty bummed to be there. Does not have very good culture, at least at the Austin location.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GLG (New York, NY)
Interview
My interview experience at GLG was extremely positive. I initially interviewed for a Research Manager role. I had one 15 min phone screen, then a 30 min phone interview with the hiring manager and then got through to the third round which consisted of 7 different people interviewing me (back to back) for almost 3 hours in person. The process was pretty standard--they asked what I knew about the company, made me explain my past experience and how it would related to the job description and I got a simple case study asking me to identify contacts for a client.
However, after all this I got a phone call a week later saying that the hiring manager was a little hesitant about putting me in this role because my experience was all based in academia. She wasn't sure how I would transition to corporate but still wanted me on the team. I was offered a different role that was slightly junior (pretty equal compensation) and I accepted.

Question 1
What types of questions would you ask a client who came to you looking to acquire a new drug therapy? What kinds of experts would you connect this client with?
I applied online. I interviewed at GLG (Austin, TX) in Mar 2016
Interview
Had an in-person interview that lasted over 1.5 hours, and was scheduled for 3 follow-up 30 min video interviews, to be held back to back. One of the two interviewers at the in-person was a no show. The interviewer was unable to answer benefits questions, and although she promised to have HR email details, they never did. The third video interviewer was also a no-show, wasting my time. An HR assistant promised to get back with me for an update the following week, which did not happen. When I sent an email requesting a status update on my application, I received a form letter stating I was no longer in consideration for the position, although I received positive feedback from all interviewers. Overall it seemed that the company was very disorganized, and I now tend to believe the accuracy of the poor reviews from current and former employees on Glassdoor.
