Question 1
Agility questions to test IQ How could you affect the transportation costs of our product, which items will you consider in your analysis
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Emma (Lisboa, Lisboa) in Jun 2023
Interview
1st round: interview with Head of Legal & Compliance; 2nd round: company presentation followed by 2 interviews with 4 people; I was supposed to have a final round of other 2 people but didn't reach that.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1st round - traditional questions; 2nd round Repetition of 1st interview questions and other questions were behavioral, for example how would I react to some specific problems and some were related to negotiation skills (negative aspects were that questions were a bit vague and one of the interviewers was a bit braggy); 2nd interview of the 2nd round was sometimes a repetition of the previous traditional and behavioral questions and also technical questions (super negative experience with one of the interviewers - chewing gum on camera, which is not only unprofessional but disrespectful, rude person that made a negative comment on an aspect of my previous job without any knowledge of the company itself). I didn't reach the final interview: they told me I wouldn't be a good fit for Emma because the company lacks structure and I seemed like an organized person who liked systems (I previously worked in a start-up company where I made every process from scratch in a chaotic environment so I find this explanation really lame). Always had questions for them and got the feeling they don't know anything about the next steps and goals so it is indeed true that the company isn't solid or structured. Honestly, the company seemed to have positive things but even if I got the job I would probably say no because the person who was rude would be working directly with me and some things were red flags to me.
