Deel Software Engineer interview questions

The process consisted of multiple stages - first an automated coding skills quiz, then a one-way interview to assess communication skills, then a coding challenge in CodeSignal. Afterwards there was a take home exercise followed by a series of interviews, including some technical questions about the submitted exercise solution, as well as open questions regarding system architecture design etc. Final step was an interview with the CTO of the company.

I was contacted by a recruiting company. I was sent a programming challenge that had to be done in a couple of hours (2.5). It was a big test, many services to be added/fixed. You wouldn't be expected to complete everything, of course. However, the time window you are given is unnecessarily tiny for anyone to show what they can do. Also, it was a fullstack position and the boilerplate mentioned a command to run the frontend part, but there was no frontend structure in the project at all. As if the time frame wasn't small enough... Really don't know what they expected to measure with that test. Also, no one contacted me after that, no feedback, no 'thank you'. For me, it was a waste of time.
