I applied online. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel
Interview
I applied online, and was contacted by a recruiter about a week later.
Had a phone screen with a recruiter, then moved on to an hour video interview with the hiring manager. Average questions about project management experience.
Was told I would hear from the recruiter with an update either way, but was instead send a generic auto rejection email at 2:00am on a Sunday with no further communication.
HR round followed by the hiring manager. No contact after the hiring manager interview. Communication from HR was really bad. No email replies as well. At least let the candidate know what's the result of the interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel (Northbrook, IL)
Interview
First interview was a 1 hour interview with the Talent Recruiter - basic information regarding background, experience and skills. A lot of scenario based questions. Second interview was with the hiring manager. Similar questions asked by the recruiter. Third Interview was a panel interview with the hiring manager, director and Hr. Again, very similar questions throughout all three rounds of questioning.
Received an offer but eventually declined the job. For the company being a majority of women, their benefits package is extremely lacking. i.e. three weeks maternity leave eligible after one year of service, zero negotiation with the salary, and zero flexibility with remote working - strict 9-5 M-F which is very rare now-a-days. Most companies at least off summer hours on Fridays or flexible WFH policies

Question 1
How do you deal with a lot of ambiguity on a project?
We have received your feedback and want to thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
Our commitment to our associates is of the utmost importance. One of the reasons Crate and Barrel attracts such a dynamic group of associates is that we offer a full menu of benefits that are relevant to their lives, both on and off the job. Many of these benefits begin on day one, and extend to eligible dependent(s).
