The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel (Geneva, IL)
Interview
I applied online and got a call to schedule an interview a few days later. I did the interview a few days after that. The manager was very friendly and personable. The interview was relaxed and more like a chat than an interview. The interview lasted not more than 20 minutes. I got a call and job offer about 1 week later.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel (Northbrook, IL)
Interview
Met with 2 engineers and head of HR. Not so technical, more behavioral seems like they wanted to assess character. Wanted to find out if I have a passion and excited about technology. Asked me what character traits are needed to succeed in IT and in a Network Admin role and whether I match those skills. What phone I have, why. It was HR centered interview, generic speaking about my experience and trying to drill down into specifics.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel (Northbrook, IL)
Interview
Hiring was long and delayed and confusing. The entire process took 4 months and I had a total of 5 interviews (1 initial screen, 1 phone interview, 3 in-person interviews). Overall it was what you expect from an interview, except they didn't give me a tour of the building. I came in 3 different times and not ONCE was I shown anything but a room immediately to the right. I believe a tour of the work place should be done.
