I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel in Mar 2014
Interview
I applied online and a week later I received an email asking for a phone interview. The same day, I did the phone interview. It went well and got asked to come in store to do a one on one interview with the Sales Manager. The interview wasn't that bad. She just asked a few a questions. She asked me to talk about the experiences and what were my duties. She also asked me why I wanted to worked in Crate and Barrel. After she asked questions, she asked me to take a product on the floor and try to sell it to her as if she was a customer and so I did. After she said that she was sold. The interview took about 30 minutes. She walked me out and she said that there was going to be another interview if I was chosen. Two days after, I received a call to come in for a last interview. There was 6 other candidates. I came in a few days later and I was later for 3 minutes because I lived fairly far. Two people interviewed me this time, one was a Merchandise Manager. They only asked me 2 questions about focused on customer service. It took like 15 minutes overall. They Merch Manager noticed that I was a few minutes late and told me that attendance is really important. A week later I got a letter in the mail that said that I didn't get the job. I thought I did really well on the interview though but I think that Merchandise Manager didn't pick me because I was late. But I lived far and it took me like an hour to get there and it was a $10 trip for me. It was a waste of time honestly because I put time and money into come to only be interviewed for 15 minutes. BS really. My trip there was way longer.

Interview
It took them about one week to get back to me for a phone interview. The interviewer was friendly and asked basic questions. The basic questions were about your weakness, why you want to work there, your experience at crate and barrel. They were also very patient with me because I was nervous. After the phone interview they got back to within five days, but I didn't move on to a one-on-one interview.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
The interview process started with a written application form. I received a call for an interview, after this I went for TWO interviews. The first was with a Manager and then the Store Manager. I feel for a part-time Sales Associate job, two interviews are a bit excessive.

Interview
I submitted an application online, and within a week received a call asking for an interview. I was called on Sunday, interviewed the following Thursday, and was offered the job on the following Monday. The process was very simple and laid back, we did the interview at a table in the store.
