I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel in May 2012
Interview
Standard fair for a retail position. I have come to learn as I have worked here, though, that several points that lead me to accept the position were either incorrectly stated or no longer true. I do realize I was hired during a transition phase at this particular location, but that's no excuse to not ensure that the information you are providing new hires is as complete as it can be.

Question 1
What was the most difficult customer service situation I've ever had to handle, by myself?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel
Interview
It took them about one week to get back to me for a phone interview. The interviewer was friendly and asked basic questions. The basic questions were about your weakness, why you want to work there, your experience at crate and barrel. They were also very patient with me because I was nervous. After the phone interview they got back to within five days, but I didn't move on to a one-on-one interview.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
The interview process started with a written application form. I received a call for an interview, after this I went for TWO interviews. The first was with a Manager and then the Store Manager. I feel for a part-time Sales Associate job, two interviews are a bit excessive.

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Crate and Barrel in Apr 2016
Interview
I submitted an application online, and within a week received a call asking for an interview. I was called on Sunday, interviewed the following Thursday, and was offered the job on the following Monday. The process was very simple and laid back, we did the interview at a table in the store.
