I applied online and was offered a phone interview shortly after. They offer you a decision two weeks after the phone interview. It was fine. Glassdoor requires we put way more words than needed to describe this.
The interview will probably be over skype, and they tell you that they will be recording your responses on a computer. It is very difficult to get into a conversation with the interviewer, because they are literally just typing your responses the whole time. A lot of their questions are actually four or five questions all at once. I would either take notes or I would ask them to give you the questions one at a time. It can be frustrating to talk to someone who may not look up from their screen the whole time.

Please describe your history working with students.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at City Year (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2017
Interview
After the application, it was a phone call and it was just basic interview questions like strengths, weaknesses, why you chose city year, scenarios. They just wanted to make sure that they knew why you were doing this and if you were passionate.
