I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at City Year (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I applied online. The application was lengthy but user friendly. I then participated in a 45 minute phone interview. Beyond the questions the interviewer had to ask, the interview was very conversational. All interviewers have to ask certain questions. I could hear my interviewer typing up my responses.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at City Year (San Antonio, TX) in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied online on their website, the next day I got an email to schedule an interview. About a week later I had the interview. The admissions manager explained to me at the beginning of the interview, that she will be taking notes during the interview, she told me not to worry if there were long pauses, which was very reassuring. The interview lasted about half an hour. Then an extra 15 minutes to explain to me logistics and what the next steps of the process will be.
Important advice: really look at the questions on Glassdoor, most of the questions I was asked during the interview were similar to those I read on Glassdoor.
