I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Casper (New York, NY) in Dec 2014
Interview
Applied online and then was e-mailed by a recruiter to set up a phone interview. After submitting times I was available to the interview, the recruiter never replied to confirm a time to interview me. I emailed him twice over the next week or so to confirm a time, and was ignored. The recruiter never got back to me.
Casper really needs to work on hiring good recruiters. Experiences like this leave bad tastes in the mouths of developers who are looking to work at your company. Developers have a community and talk to each other and let each other know how their interview experiences went at companies. This experience doesn't reflect well on Casper. I won't be applying to Casper again and if I hear of a colleague interested in Casper, I won't hesitate to tell them not to.
Hello. We're sorry to hear about this, as our goal is to make each and every interaction with candidates a priority here at Casper. Sometimes when we request phone interview availability through our applicant tracking system, the candidate's reply email will end up in a spam folder. We'd be happy to chat about opportunities in the future, so feel free to email jobs@casper.com if you're still on the market and open to a chat.

Interview
Three skype interviews- all fit questions. The questions were framed to learn about you. The place really values company culture and uses the interview process for customer service to get to know you. There was a writing component, where it required the applicant to submit responses to typical customer service questions. E.g. What do I do if my mattress comes with a hole?

Question 1
Walk me through your resume. Why do you want to work at a startup?

Interview
Phone interview first round. Pretty straight forward. They ask you about past experiences and your interest for the role. If they like you, they will give you an assignment before meeting in-person. Assignment is pretty tough, even though it may seem straight forward, corporate expectation despite start-up culture is how I would describe it
