CarMax interview questions

It's a 3-step interview. The first one with the recruiter for screening. When I told him I enjoyed working for companies with prestige, he said "well, we only have 5% of the market", so that was weird. Next interview was with a manager on another analysis department. They go very hardcore on one case regarding that is very basic statistic/algebra. I did not understand the first question correctly as it was worded a little different, yet it was a very easy mistake to fix. I've read that there is not a "good" or "bad" answer, but this specific manager did want me to get the exact number. I got an email saying they did like me strengths and my resume match what they were looking for, yet others performed better in the case.

Was referred. Phone Interview lasted 40 mins. Recruiter was personal and allowed me to speak of my experience and skill set relevant to the job I was applying for. Didn’t feel rushed.
