CarMax interview questions

Use the SMART approach to answer every question. You need to give real life examples of problems and how you overcame them at your previous jobs. They look for a particular personality - friendly and social. Most people are with a few who somehow slipped through the cracks.

You will be contacted for 1-2 phone interviews before a face to face interview. The face to face interview will most likely be one on one and then a secondary interview with a second manager may take place before being offered the job. You will also be required to take and pass a drug test on site if they elect to offer you a position. They will also conduct a full background check and review your driver's license as this is a high frequency driving position. The questions are straight forward and typically measure your ability to work with others, knowledge of the flow shop process, experience with modern vehicles, shop safety, and driving record.
