I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Booking.com (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2014
Interview
Phone interview first. Seems like they check if you are good match for the position. I think showing your positive attitude is important.
1:1 interview and testing computer skill and language skills next including explanation of the work. This is the opportunity that you find out if you like the company. Again, showing positive attitude is a key.

Interview
I applied Customer Service Representative- Bilingual position. As soon as I applied, the recruiter contacted me via phone. He briefly explained about the position and the company and we set the interview schedule. Because of outdated language proficiency test, I couldn't get to interview with them. However, the recruiter told me that he would contact me as soon as they change the test policy. everyone was really nice about it and they apologized to me several times for the inconvenience.
Two months later, the recruiter reached me via email saying that they changed the test and they want me to retake the test. I was surprised because I thought I would never get another chance. This time the process was way smoother than before. I got to explore the company through job shadowing and talk to one of the employee. Everyone was really welcoming and I felt really comfortable with the whole process.

Interview
First there was a phone interview, took probably about 30 minutes. Then came the face-to-face interview, about a week later. Quick one-on-one 10-min interview x 4 recruiters, followed by 10-min each language tests (English and a second language I was applying for). Then one of their staff gave me a quick friendly tour around the floor. The recruiters were all very friendly, attentive, efficient, and made sure I was not too nervous.
