I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Biogen
Interview
Overall, it was a positive experience and the interview was intense but not very technical. Biogen cares about its culture and core behaviors, so a lot of questions were about the cultural fit of the candidate. People were respectful. Interviewed by cross-functional team.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Biogen (Cambridge, MA) in Jun 2010
Interview
Initial was a phone call to come in and interview. Then I had about 15 subsequent interviews...very drawn out and long process. The stacked about 10 in one day, meeting with peers, direct reports and superiors. Then I had several follow ups as they narrowed the field, including several VPs and the CIO.

I don't recall any 1 particular question. But by the time I met with the 8th consecutive individual I was starting to get a little fried.

Interview
Generally unscripted interviews with individuals. Some behavioral questions ("Tell us about a time when you...") but not frequent. More so detail on what attracted you to the role, and what are you most proud of in your career, and what will make you successful in challenges in this role.

Question 1
When an interviewer tells you that you might need to change personnel to get the job done. Just sends a bad vibe of culture that replacing someone is easier than reforming, challenging, or improving them.
