Interview
There are three stages to the interview process: (1) a recruiter phone interview [~10 minutes], (2) a face-to-face Skype interview with someone else, possibly an HR representative [~25 minutes], (3) another Skype interview with the hiring manager [~25 minutes]. At every stage they describe the job and the benefits.

Interview
An initial phone screening -> 20 minute video conference interview -> 45 minute video conference interview -> offer contingent upon background check -> official offer.
I applied online March 12, 2015. I was contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone screening March 19th, 2015. I then had a 20 minute interview via Facetime on Friday, March 20th and told they would love to move forward in the interview process with me. I scheduled myself, online, for a Facetime interview on March 25th. Friday, Marc 27th I was offered the position, contingent upon successful background report. I completed this, with Hirerite, the same day and the website showed report to be completed Wednesday, April 1. Official offer April 3rd.
The initial screening is mainly to ensure you can intelligently answer questions and, communicate effectively. This was followed by a 20 minute video conference interview, which was to get a general assessment of your competency in dealing with customers, and see how you might approach possible customer situations, which are common to many customer service roles. The 3rd interview was pretty long, which I opted to complete by facetime. This was an in depth review of previous roles I had related to the position, 3 scenarios where they wanted to see how sensible and creative my approach to resolution was, and my strength in customer service, to ensure this was my primary goal.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
My phone has been replaced several times and now, Apple Care says they have to send me a new replacement! I want to know why you can't get me a working phone?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Rockford, IL) in Mar 2015
Interview
Relatively easy interview. The tips from here really helped. They really want to see you empathize and connect with the customer's problem. Pick up on the clues like "I'm at a dinner party" and respond accordingly. The other questions also included specific scenarios like "I'm in a beach and my phone isn't working." Just be attentive to what they're asking you and show empathy, personally connect, and above all be positive. If you don't know the specific step to solve the issue please don't say that. Just keep going even if you start repeating yourself.
