I spent 2 months interviewing for a PM position for Cartus (a relo company under Anywhere RE), completing 5 out of 6 rounds. After my 5th round I was ghosted for 2 weeks with no updates or next steps. Only after following up multiple times and requesting feedback did I finally get a response informing me they offered the position to a former employee. While I understand that companies have the right to choose the best fit, the lack of communication and professionalism was disappointing.
I then asked about another open Product Manager position, hoping to be considered. Instead of a straightforward answer, I was completely ignored.
Overall, this experience left me feeling undervalued and disrespected as a candidate. If this is how they treat prospective employees, I can only imagine how they operate internally. Candidates deserve transparency, timely communication, and basic respect throughout the hiring process—unfortunately, that was not my experience with Anywhere Real Estate.
