I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon in May 2022
Interview
They demand a lot but give very little.
The interview was not difficult: 2 questions regarding leadership principles. I do not judge the interview process because I am not an HR.
The criticisms regard:
A) planning
B) feedback post interview
A) amazon requests your availability (5 options to provide) for the next 2 weeks. The date selected is communicated even 1 week later so you have to reschedule again and again. In my case we agreed about a date and 90 minutes before the interview they sent me an email requesting to move it. Luckily, I read the email after 30 mins. What if I hadn't read the email!? ...at least make a call! you are Amazon
B) I did not pass the interview. Ok, I accepted it. None expects detailed feedback. At least considering the amount of time Amazon requests to read the material for the interview and to prepare it please provide feedback with predefined categories. Knowing the area why you failed (language? tech knowledge? ....) may help. The absurd thing is that they request me feedback about the interview process.
They demand a lot but give very little.
I am an Amazon client but WTF, in the interview process I felt to be a piece not a person.

Question 1
- A situation where you make a choice without all the data
- A situation where you have realized that you have made a mistake
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2022
Interview
First had an Initial call with HR for a phone screen, then I moved on to a interview with what would be a peer over Chime, the final interview was a 5 person 5 hour loop interview over Chime as well..
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were around their leadership principles and they wanted examples of how you handled certain situations. All started with "Tell me a time when you _____"
Poorly managed process (and echoes some of the other feedback). The recruitment lead failed to turn up to a pre-agreed preparation call. There was very little by way of an apology when it did come several days later. Have them benefit if doubt and agreed to reschedule, only for the recruiter to change the time and then ask why I hadn’t joined the call.
Given experience withdrew from process. No follow up response received from recruiter even to confirm it had been actioned - massively unprofessional
