I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2022
Interview
Border case disrespectful since they require a lot of preparation and give 0 feedback; per company policy - well who and why designed and implemented the policy. Can be (and likely is ) extremely subjective because of the no feedback policy. Persons with friends inside can get 'better prep'. How is this superior to standardized test / certificates is beyond my understanding. Interviewed for somewhat technical roles and lack of attention to details in questions/cases was astonishing... given the nature of potential roles. "The best" try to educate during the interview.. well in some cases pushing interviewee to say a solution was scalable when s/he explicitly clarified that value of solution was elsewhere can be ... interpreted in various ways.

Describe a time when you had to be resourceful to solve a problem
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2022
Interview
Smooth and delightful. I asked for potential LPs that are important to the role and I was given a list of LPs with the importance level.
Unfortunately, despite whichever ways I asked, I was not given even the minimum total compensation of the role. I researched enough to understand the range and I did OK with the interview that I could leverage to push further. I highly recommend do your homework extensively before negotiation.

(One of the YouTuber has a list of questions on her page, out of 20+ questions I was asked among 5 interviewers, I got 6 of them exactly the same as posted)
Amazon's interview process was smooth and communicative, with transparency and quick responses. While I wasn't selected for the role, there were clear timelines for communication, which the recruiter was great about outlining. Timely email replies as well. Overall, the process was much different from some of the other large tech companies, who often just "ghost" unsuccessful candidates.
