It was pretty quick. It varies from office to office. The offices have the ultimate decision in who they will hire. There is no corporate oversight. You will be required to take and pass your state insurance licensing test.

Interview
They emailed me to set up a phone interview and I was scheduled in for the next day. The interviewer suggested I should not pursue my personal professional goals because of something her friend told her, and that left a sour taste in my mouth. I got the impression my interviewer was not very experienced yet based on the comment and direction of the phone interview.

Recruited from the home office in Chicago, IL. Candidates were narrowed down to three including myself. My manager took my wife & I out to dinner to gauge my interest and see if I was a good fit. Was offered job one week later ultimately because I reminded my manager of himself.
