I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Chicago, IL) in May 2015
Interview
I applied on-line. A few days later I received and email from HR asking me to fill out a sheet with additional information. 5 days after I submitted the additional info, HR contacted me again and said that they would like to schedule a phone interview. Consequently, I had a 30 minute phone interview with one of the Investment Managers. The interviewer was very pleasant and professional. I was told that I would get an update about my application in about 2 weeks.

Interview
I applied online and got an email a week later to set up a phone interview. The guy interviewing me was really nice, he led me to believe the interview was going well. He asked me the questions listed below and then sent me a form to fill out to send back. Something about compliance. Told me the process took 2-3 weeks. Received an email 2 weeks later saying that they moved on. Only reason I think I did not moved forward was because of my GPA. It was an entry level position.
