Applied in May. Got an email for a phone interview at the end of June. Did the phone interview the same day. The next day I was told I needed to complete and assessment. Completed that the same day and passed. Within the next day or so I got called for an in person interview. Interviewed with two managers and watched a video/slideshow. Was told I would hear something within a week. This Wednesday will be two weeks and I haven't heard anything. Still holding on to hope.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2011
Interview
Very smooth, no hassle...typical interview techniques. Interview was seamless, 3 people on the interview team asking a variety of questions. Each person interviews 1:1 to get a different perspective on the applicant. Some times they may ask the same question to ensure the response is either similar or different experience is discussed for a different skill set
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Allstate (Northbrook, IL) in Nov 2013
Interview
Standard college recruiting interview: One 30 min interview on campus, final round set of three 30 min-interviews at home office. 95% behavioral questions, 5% technical questions. Recruiter/Interviewers were looking for more than just the most intelligent candidates.
