"Not a good plan. You get 1k paid to your HSA, but the deductible is 2k, so you have to add to your fsa to cover. And the out of pocket is 7k before care is "free." DTA."

"GE offers it but there is simply no way to take it. The workload will not permit. GE will take over your life 100% or you will simply not be able to perform to expectations."

Health Insurance benefits are pretty poor. Extremely expensive, or else minimal coverage with high CoPays. Other benfits such as LTDI, etc, are pretty reasonable, and there is free dental coverage.

It seems like we lose more benefits than we gain. For example, the pension plan was closed to new hires several years ago.

Good pension, life insurance programs. Relatively low pay for lower level employees.

The package is not tailored to the individual. No room for negotiation.

Very affordable for the level of care provided. They also kick in $1000 a year for your family HRA.

Poor 401K which you are forced into poor performing GE stocks ad bonds. Almost no vacation and when you finally take one they expect you to work on your vacation.
