GE benefits

Excellent company culture and values. If you are good at what you do, you tend to stay in that position for a long time.

The health insurance just isn't what it used to be. It seems like benefits are shrinking but it seems to be the same with other large companies.

Best is Pension . Worst is healthcare.

The best thing about the benefits package was 3 weeks paid vacation right from the start, the ability to contribute to 401K right away and I was able to negotiate a sign on bonus. The worst thing about the benefits package was there was no relocation package (had to use sign on bonus), no bonus plan and no pension is offered to new hires.

It is amazing that they cover some room and board expenses for interns! This is similar to some of the other major companies in the area, but it is extremely useful. GE also assists with the housing and roommate search if you need that as well.

the benefits were awesome at GE. the worst thing is all of the competition that exists in all of GE and is hard to climb company latter

The best benefits in the companny for me is the 401K or 1165 retirement plant. That help us to prepaire ro de retirement.
