The Sunglass Hut Summit 2025 in New Orleans was a huge success! Our field leadership team, selected Store Managers, and corporate staff gathered for this fun event. The summit began with a celebration of New Orleans culture, featuring a local band, history, and cuisine. We welcomed our new President & General Manager, Onur Köksal, who shared our goals, roadmap to success, and priorities for 2025. The event concluded with a celebration of our 2024 achievements. #AlwaysInTheSun
Together with OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation, we honored Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service by giving back to our local community through the gift of sight. Through the Foundation's Community Vision Program, we volunteered alongside #EssilorLuxottica Kaleidoscope Business Resource Group members at The Salvation Army in Brooklyn, NY. We provided free vision screenings for reading glasses and eyeglass cleanings to older adults in need. By connecting those with limited resources and in the greatest need, we can help them see better, protect their eyes and feel empowered to let their inner confidence shine. #AlwaysInTheSun
We believe that everyone has the right to see the world clearly. Currently, uncorrected poor vision affects a third of the world’s population. Most of these people live in developing communities where there is a limited access to vision care awareness of vision issues. That’s why we celebrate our collaboration with OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation not just for Giving Tuesday but every day. Discover more on https://lnkd.in/gDKybT5
June was special for us! 😎🍦 We celebrated #NationalSunglassesDay at our 5th Avenue Flagship store by inviting our customers, influencers, and employees to shop new sunnies and enjoy ice cream plus sweet treats! We also partnered with Little Words Project, for a special gift with purchase and had Shanée Benjamin personalize sunglass travel cases in-store. #AlwaysInTheSun
During hashtag#AAPIHeritageMonth, we connected with Sabrina Wilsey-Botelho, the Store Manager from our Hawaii store. She raises awareness about her culture and shares unique aspects of being Hawaiian. In the Native Hawaiian culture, we learn the story of Haloa, which recounts the tale of the first Kanaka (Hawaiian). This story explains how we received the first taro plant, a staple in the Hawaiian diet. Ancient Hawaiians utilized every part of the plant, from leaf to root. If you've ever visited Hawaii, you may have tried it at a luau, where it's known as poi." When you next visit our Hawaii location, stop by and say aloha to Sabrina and her team! 🌺🥥🌴
Walk into our newly redesigned flagship store on Lincoln Road in Miami! Kudos to the team for their fantastic design and execution. We're thrilled to welcome our customers! If you’re in the area, stop by to say hello to our Store Manager, Gio Negron and his team. Find your place to shine and join our team in the Sunshine State or a location near you. Check out our open roles 🌴😎☀️
