Pros

Allow you to be creative with your visuals, each boutique receives different merchandise which makes each boutique unique in it's own way. Small team of staff so you are able to work with everyone. Since it's a small store closing up doesn't take to long so you're able to get out at a decent time. Can easily move up if you want to, it's a great company to start out in retail with.

Cons

No formal sort of training for most positions is given to new hires, extremely disorganized, poor communication and direction from corporate and management. Small team of staff is a con because if someone is sick or calls out you end up covering their shifts, no allocated hours to do visuals or markdowns before or after store hours-you're required to do these tasks during store hours while providing excellent customer service while alone on the sales floor. Company is growing very fast and opening lots of new stores but can't provide the best support for the stores they currently have.

Pros

I love the people that I work with! Also, it's very rewarding when you help a customer find exactly what they are looking for!

Cons

One downside is that the company is going through a lot of changes at the moment and everyone's ducks are in a row. There isn't one set criteria so you can talk to one person and get one answer then might get a different answer from someone else in the company.

Pros

Decent discount, small stores that are enjoyable to work in, great customers.

Cons

Disorganized management, unclear expectations, upper management unable to properly manage, visuals are expected to be done without direction, inexperienced company overall. The company is under performing after a "re-imagine" where the culture of the company became more "edgy" and Forever 21 like. The upper management structure changed, and all of the area managers/ regional directors became soulless, mindless drones. It became unbearable to go to work over the last 4 months as a direct results. The company does not provide plan-o-grams like every other clothing retailer, but expects the stores to regularly have perfect/edgy displays that the teams have to come up with. There are few payroll hours, days are packed with customer service, cleaning, organizing, dealing with shipment, and completely re-doing the entire store day after day, all alone because there aren't hours to pay anyone else to help. Pay is poor- I made more when I was 18 as an Assistant Manager at Starbucks.
