No work/life balance, expected to put the job 1st so there was very little flexibility which made it hard to make plans for anything. Visuals are lacking...no clear guidelines and the leadership in that area is not properly qualified to set guidelines. Favoritism is a frequent occurrence, especially in the flagship location. Not enough hours given to those who were hitting sales goals. No encouragement or opportunity to grow in your career beyond the sales floor to the home office. Once you are in the store you are pretty much stuck. No PTO days are given unless you are the BMR or higher, bonuses for key holders were recently taken away... Company seems very confused as far as the direction they are going.

The discount is only 30% and the clothes are over priced, the jewelry is cheap and easily breaks, the staff is small so calling out isn't possible, you spend long hours by yourself, not compliant with school schedules, the review process is a joke, over worked especially around holiday seasons It was non-negotiable that I had to fill in for other stores that I didn't work at, requested off a few times and didn't get off, the company doesn't realize you have a life outside of the store, and the bosses cannot fire someone and there's no write up process so people who don't pull their weight fly under the radar.
