Pros

I worked at one store for 5 months and then transferred because I moved back home after college. It is truly like working in a boutique so it is really fun. You get close with your co workers and you get to help customers. I personally enjoy styling and this was a great way for me to connect with customers and help them out. It is an overall easy job. Good discount and good dress code. Get to wear three pieces of jewelry a day.

Cons

The company grew too fast for corporate to handle. My transfer took over a month to process and HR was very difficult with being on top of the situation. Also within my 7 months of working here I had only met one person from corporate who did not even introduce them self to me or make an effort to connect with me. They came into the store just to "check in" and our conversation laster 2 minutes of her telling me what I did well/ bad with. Also it is hard because only 6 people work in a boutique so it is hard to switch days off etc.

Pros

As a Boutique Associate, I am able to not only help guests, but style mannequins and window displays, and merchandise the entire store. Everyone is involved in every process, which is why it's so much fun and such a great learning experience. Most stores have separate visual departments, and hire from outside. Francesca's is also growing, so it's a good place to move up the ranks into management, if that's what your looking for.

Cons

Not enough hours as a Boutique Associate (Max 20 per week), closer to 15 hours per week. It is impossible to get enough hours to make a living, unless you are a full time assistant manager or higher position, no other positions are full time. Even though it is a good place to grow, because of sheer company growth, there should be more promoting from within.
