Pros

Fantastic Team support, amazing benefits for staff, which include Staff travel rates on flights and discounts on lots of products including gym memberships. They are also very good at letting staff know what their options for growth within the company are, including workshop days.

Cons

Some very challenging working hours - long days. With so many staff at one base, it is sometimes very difficult to build relationships with seniors.

Pros

As a company, they look after their staff very well. Subject to targets being met, you are awarded 2 weeks salary worth of free shares in the company every year. Also a 2 weeks worth of salary bonus is paid just before christmas. A bottle of champagne and a thank you card from the CEO is delivered to each member of staff's home address just before christmas. The staff travel scheme is excellent, I would say the best in the industry. There are various employee reward schemes that reward those that have gone above and beyond in a particular field. A grand all expenses award ceremony is held usually in London for the lucky nominees

Cons

Although the senior management team are very dynamic and generally good at what they do, the base management tend to be less dynamic at best, and utterly incompetent at worse. Depending on your base, opportunities for promotion may be relatively quick (LGW for example). As such a huge airline do expect to feel like a number rather than a person sometimes. There is a policy and procedure for absolutely everything at EZY and they do expect them to be followed, so maybe it's not the airline for free thinkers and rebels!

Pros

exceptionally friendly people, challenging work and opportunities to develop through the work that you do as you learn so much on a daily basis. Compensation is competitive and as long as you are motivated, you can get involved in lots of exciting work.

Cons

Its hard work working at easyJet and you have to be fairly resilient to keep the pace. Its still growing up and as a result the infrastructure is being changed to support a FTSE100 company so there is a lot to do and not always enough people. For the right people, this is a brilliant opportunity.
