Pros

As a pilot of 25 years I've worked for Easyjet for 10 years. The route structure is varied and interesting, the training provided is excellent and to a very high standard. The aircraft are relatively new and carry very few defects. The management team are approachable and at Easyjet there is an open philosophy and no blame culture which encourages feedback and ultimately makes for a safer environment to work.

Cons

Some roster instability, shift work can be demanding and some of the days are very long.

Pros

I joined a couple of months ago and have been impressed so far. They've been very welcoming. It's a very action oriented culture. They do things quickly, and genuinely care about their customers. Carolyn is hugely respected and has delivered a very high performing organisation. There are a lot of big transformation projects coming down the pipe in 2015 so it's going to be a demanding year - but loads of opportunities for people who want them!

Cons

There is still a certain lack of maturity in their systems and processes - some things are still overly complex but there is a big drive towards simplicity. The HQ is at Luton Airport which is nobody's idea of a great location, but it's handy for the M1 and the train links are great.

Thanks you, and welcome to easyJet! Delighted to hear that you're enjoying your first few months. Yes, there is a lot of interesting change on the horizon - 2015 will be a challenging year on that front! Our continued growth means we need to make sure that our internal systems and processes are brought up to date and kept as simple as possible. Your point about the office space is definitely valid. We're aware that things are a bit tight at Hangar 89 and we're looking at a range of possible options to give everyone a bit more space and accomodate our growth plans.
