Pros

Friendly and cooperative atmosphere. The working environment is great, especially if you like to work with people from all over Europe. There is a strong drive to work together. Also there is the will to change and make progress, contrary to the larger and bureaucratic legacy airlines.

Cons

The high load factors of the flights reduce your chances with Staff Travel. So don't join if you just want cheap flights.

Pros

Hit the ground running and gain a wide range of knowledge quickly with support of peers who are supportive Office environment isn't a boring one, it has a buzz and everyone is accessible

Cons

Development has completely disappeared for all but those people who are identified as future leaders. Those people are chosen as the select few are very questionable. The leadership team in the HR team are individually talented but lack any sort of dynamic as a 'team'. They continue to promote people who are ruthless and will trample on anyone to progress. Within the service centre where I worked we had little to no contact with anyone senior and they rarely acknowledged we existed. There was no path to progress out of the centre with externals always hired in for all positions leading to high turnover again and again. The atmosphere in the office can often be tense and workload is utterly unmanageable but it's is accepted that everyone should work long hours to get it done which leads to nearly all the team having poor health - the whole department are always working later than most of the business.

Pros

Whilst the working environment is fast paced, it's also fun and people work hard around you. There is a real sense of camaraderie and people pull together as a team, always willing to help or answer questions. You get given a lot of autonomy to do your job - but with management support as required. The staff travel perks are very good!

Cons

You have to be willing to be fairly self sufficient i.e. there isn't a hand holding culture - which people will either love or hate! (It works well for me). As the people team is fairly big, it may take a while to understand the different teams and 'who does what'.
