Pros

Flex time off for salaried employees, generous PTO accrual for non-salaried. Company provided laptop & screens, monthly tech reimbursement, and understanding & compassionate managers & directors.

Cons

Lots. C-Suite is completely out of touch with reality. Glenn Sanford has a habit of seeing something shiny and hyper-focusing on it, even if it ultimately means the degradation of his company. His new shiny apple is AI. eXp used to pride itself on being a mold breaker and going against the flow, and that's how they succeeded. Now they're just another cog in the machine, and the over-reliance on what AI can do is killing the company. We have been told that AI is the future here, and they expect all staff to be constantly building and teaching AI platforms to 'help' our agents. Spoiler alert: the agents HATE this drive to AI. We are hemorrhaging real estate agents because they're running out of actual people to talk to thanks to constant layoffs (2+ major ones per year now). We've been told that the company goal is to have 200,000 agents by 2030, and a ratio of 200 agents for every 1 staff member. First off, that's absolutely insane. You want to over double your agent count in 5 years? Go 95% AI by then?? AND lay off staff down to 1,000??? Yeah, no. When other C-Suite people say "The Writing is on the Wall" in regards to the future of this company, that's not a good sign. Morale is on the floor, annual merit raises have been suspended, and we feel like we have to fight every day to justify keeping our jobs. We're not valued, we're not taken care of, and we're given more work and expectations every day while being expected to keep our current SLA's and KPI's. And what is eXp's response to employee concerns? Non-answers. Dodging questions. Consistently repeating the phrase "We're being as transparent as possible", when in reality, the company is not being transparent AT ALL. It's no wonder people are searching for other jobs at an astonishing rate. They're also COVERING UP the employee concerns. Typically all of our full-company meetings are recorded and uploaded to YouTube. This last one was a disaster for C-Suite because employees were not satisfied with non-answers, so they swept it under the rug, and the recording conveniently 'didn't work'. Yeah, that's a lie, because I SAW the meeting video posted on YouTube, in full. A few hours later, it was taken down. STOP BEING COMPLACENT IN A COVER UP.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. It’s clear how much you care about eXp and the people here, and while this is hard to read, we’re listening. AI isn’t just happening at eXp—it’s happening in every industry in the world. It’s our goal to stay ahead of these shifts in a way that supports our agents, empowers our employees, and positions us to lead the industry into the future. That takes learning, experimentation, and sometimes, discomfort. We’re not trying to replace people. We’re building tools to reduce friction, spark new ideas, and help everyone do their best work. Your feedback matters and it helps us strike the right balance between progress and care. Thank you again.

Thank you for the thoughtful review and for spotlighting platforms like Revenos and our income model. We're always excited to see agents take full advantage of the opportunities here at eXp. We understand the virtual structure isn’t ideal for everyone and that some agents miss the feel of a local office. That feedback matters and helps us keep improving the support systems that wrap around our agents. Grateful to have you with us!
