Pros

The salary is fine and have better package than most of other IT companies in China. The company always provides career development plan and support to all employees. And will review your performance every quarter. If you get high score you will get chance to be promoted. Generally the company is fair for everyone. The working environment is pretty good and the facilities are the same in global, so it's in the top layer in China.

Cons

Currently the global economy is impacting this company, but because of the traditional working model the company's response and action is not as fast as we expected.

Pros

The people and the environment are the best reason to work for eBay. They have some of the top services in the industry for employes, which includes: cafe, gym, outdoor grounds, cubicles, computers and support staff. The company cares about your development and success at the company. They offer 20 -40 classes per quarter for self development, which is applicable to any company. The company is open to idea generation and completely supports unconventional thinking.

Cons

Competition and economy effects on the stock market seem to be the biggest downsides of working with eBay. The bay area is competitive and people leave for the next hot idea constantly.

From the furniture-maker in a small village in India, to the retiree supplementing his Social Security, we've helped them find a market for their goods and gain financial independance.

Cons

Doing an exceptional job is the norm around here, so it's hard to stand out or get special recognition. And obviously, we're trying to make some fundamental improvements to the marketplace right now (2007/2008), and it's causing sellers a lot of pain. We all wish it could happen without that. The press has been pretty one-sided about what is going on,
