Pros

The brand name of eBay has carried a lot of weight in future jobs. Even a short sting at eBay has helped other folks I've met.

Cons

eBay in the mid 2000s was known as a place that worked its employees to the bone. I was there at that time and completely agree. The compensation was low because they knew that their brand was so popular. Nowadays the eBay brand is weaker so I've seen folks getting better eBay deals but it is difficult to find a good starting package.

free bagels, work life balance, training opportunities. Alot of very smart and dedicated people that you get to interface with.

Cons

trees in the parking lot tend to drop alot of sap on the cars. seems to be alot of management churn over the past year.
