Smart people, fast paced, challenging, exciting. eBay has been way ahead of the curve for a long time in Internet Marketing

Cons

Bureaucratic, lost nimbleness. Lost touch with consumers & community. The things that made eBay great in the beginning are lacking now.

When eBay was growing like gang-busters, there was no other place to be. We were building fabulous products, we were excited about what it enabled for eBay's community of users, we were working hard but loving every minute of it. We felt we were making a difference!

Cons

multiple layers of decision-making. too many processes. lack on innovation. Senior Management made questionable decisions.
