Great working environment, good set-ups for engineers, new and advanced instruments.

Cons

higher management people are terrible, dumb n foolish. Don't know what to do, just making big bucks by doing unethical work and telling lots of stories to Germans.

I worked for Osram Sylvania for a little over 11 years and was laid off when the maintenance side of the business was closed down.

Opportunity to move positions. Some very intelligent people.

Cons

Upper management doesn't know the business. There are a lot of "Chiefs" and not enough Indians if you know what I mean. Not a team type of company- everyone is out for themselves. Upper management likes to bully employees and use scare tactics to keep them around.
