Unfortunately is it not possible to live the "interesting" values (like a start up) from the management board like in the past >> every day you got thwarted. The international way of thinking and working (specially HR like in the years before was now totally destroyed. What a shame!
Since the acquisition of Osram, it has become less and less possible to drive innovative developments in important sections. In particular, the fact that specially the Admin Osram structures have been almost retained and overlay ams and paralyze the dynamics of ams must be criticized very strongly. Unfortunately, this is where the acquired company sees itself at the forefront.
Normally, when a purchase is made, the entire management level is not taken over. Many colleagues were disadvantaged worldwide even though they had made ams successful and strong enough for years. The right, ambitious colleagues were not promoted according to their abilities.
That cannot be conducive or beneficial for a good atmosphere. That is definitely one of the reasons, why so many employees are leaving the company on both sides. >> it was not recognized which colleagues should have been promoted.
The bad mix also arises from the fact that there are unfortunately so-called leaders in the company who are very toxic and prefer a narcissistic leader style, which has been proven to have a negative effect on an entire team and thus performance and motivations go into the basement.
Now this new company has an extremely bloated and outdated admin style and this is the handbrake on the system.
Its really a shame and and certainly an old-fashioned system that casts a shadow over ams.
