Pros

You get b2b experience apart from that I can’t say much

Cons

I felt a lot of sexism in the work place. I viewed this as an extremely toxic workplace environment when I personally raised concerns to management they shrugged them off as sort of a “boys will be boys “ type of response. There is a culture of bullying and management turning a blind eye if sales are coming in. The tactics they use to “make a sale “ are at best ethically questionable. Many people seem to lie or manipulate their call logs and everyone seems to turn a blind eye rather than look into the root cause of the problem . I have never worked at a company where I felt my trust so violated by coworkers trying to steal deals as I did at Zoominfo and this is perpetuated by management who I always felt encouraged this behavior and did little to rectify it when it was brought to their attention on many occasions

Hi, this is Chad Herring the CHRO for ZoomInfo. I'm very sorry you did not have a good experience at ZI--you described the opposite environment of what we want to create for all the teams at the company. We do not want a culture in the business where any employee feels sexism or other inappropriate behavior is occurring. If you'd like, I'm happy to discuss this with you directly, or if you prefer, I can ask one of my HRBPs to speak with you. You are free to remain anonymous if you wish and can contact me through an email alias. My contact information is Chad.Herring@zoominfo.com.

Pros

- Great opportunity to sell a ton of new business and make good money doing it - Super energizing culture, people around you are very driven and smart - Definitely the #1 product on the market, almost an easy sell (no such thing but it comes close)

Cons

- Leadership is almost 100% white and male from mid-tier up to the C-level, there is definitely a Bro Culture that makes it feel uncomfortable to be a woman - Very little diversity and inclusion, the culture was all about "destroying" others - from former companies we've worked with, to even having a "trash can award" for the "worst client" that was sold to where the team and management would make fun of small businesses that bought their product - sales management records every single call you have and nitpicks their way through it using AI technology - you could be repremanded for leaving out a single word from the scripts they give you - super shady, I knew I had to leave when leadership told us to stop telling prospects how we captured the data - Long hours, weekend work, and new prospect calls every 30 minutes - When I asked my manager how to improve, he said stop taking lunch so I can take more meetings...

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. You are spot on to recognize that income potential is significantly higher at ZoomInfo than at many other companies. It’s not uncommon for Sales team members to earn six figures only a year or two after joining. The tech stack is superb and ZoomInfo is known in the industry as the ‘premier’ tool for Go to Market teams. Diversity, equity and inclusion is incredibly important to our organization. Although we acknowledge that sales cultures can be boisterous and high-energy, we do not condone any behavior that is discriminatory or makes anyone feel uncomfortable or unsafe. This is not commensurate with our values; any behavior of this nature should immediately be reported to HR. One of the ways we support women at ZoomInfo is through our Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) employee resource group. WIN meets regularly and hosts several annual events that highlight our women in leadership and create networking and mentoring opportunities for women at ZoomInfo. We are proud of the fact that our percentage of women in leadership in several of our departments exceeds the industry average. As our company continues to grow, culture is top of mind for the executive team. We are currently conducting extensive focus groups to analyze employee sentiment, identify quick wins, and develop medium- and long-term action plans to engage our employees, help them grow and build their careers here at ZoomInfo. If you have any questions regarding these programs, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Employee Experience team or your HR Business Partner.

Pros

I worked there only three months. During the first three months, you are guaranteed your commission payout. So I made the full $100,000 salary for the only three months that I was there. I cant imagine if I actually had to live off of my base salary. You have to be very manipulative and deceitful to work here. Everyone else in the space charges less than $200/month/user. They charge $15k upwards

Cons

So so so so so many. Ill some it up this way. My manager, with his limited experience, hired me and then fired me after I moved for this job on my own dime. I was not paid commissions on time and my boss said that "it happens and to expect it". It is a massive boys club. The other tales people have posted about the toxic culture of humilation and bullying is true. This company hired me after talking to me for three days. And they didnt do a background check. They have an extremely high turnover rate. This company gives me major Cutco knives vibes. Cheesy. I come from Microsoft and Google. Im working in DevOps again. My current employer pays for my desk setup, gave me a Macbook pro to use and they pay for my therapist. ZoomInfo was the opposite.
