Pros

Talented and kind colleagues almost always willing to help

Cons

Mid Market Account Managers are facing a perfect storm of challenges that are pushing our best people to the breaking point. After ZoomInfo's CSM team cuts, we're left hanging with zero internal resources and an impossible workload. The reality is brutal. Our team is working around the clock, sacrificing nights and weekends just to keep things afloat. Meanwhile, senior leadership seems to be living in a completely different world, pushing unrealistic goals without any real understanding of what's happening on the ground. Our top performers are walking away - and who can blame them? We've got multiple Account Managers turning down President's Club awards because they're so burnt out and frustrated. The constant pressure of risk mitigation, combined with zero support, is crushing team morale. There will be a total breakdown of our customer relationships and team structure if something doesn't change soon. Our best talent is heading for the exits, and no amount of fancy corporate speak can hide that fact.

Pros

The product is poised to EXPLODE on the market - in a good way. None of the competitors in the field have anything close to the depth and breadth of ZoomInfo's data. It's an exciting time where you can stretch some different muscles like major GTM initiatives and 0-1 product launches.

Cons

Chaos at the top results in sometimes week by week changes in priority. Features and initiatives that are production ready get axe'd at the last minute. To flourish, you need to be resilient and good at managing up.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Yes, we are defining the Go-to-Market Intelligence space, and are thrilled that you're part of it. Prospects, customers, investors, competitors are all taking notice. This is a place where you can wear a lot of hats and work on career-defining initiatives. We expect our people to be owners and drivers of their area of expertise and bring others along. As you know, we can move pretty fast and pivots can come frequently. We're far from stuck in our ways. Your advice about resilience and managing-up is solid. People who think like owners and lean into problem-solving and pushing past "good enough" really thrive here. Cheers to more successful years at ZoomInfo!

Pros

Great company name for resume, some great people

Cons

When I started I primarily took the job due to my admiration for the VP of Marketing. In my second month she was fired and no one ever spoke her name again. Literally, never ackowledged. By the third month we had a new leader with no experience. By the fourth month my role changed and I was no longer a people manager but an IC. I expressed problems with this vs. the role I accepted and was slowly pushed out of the team. I was fired with no real reason as I was a top performer but simply did not agree with the change of role. Bad company. Bad practices.
